Help Me Decide: To Keep or Not To Keep, That Is The Question?....

This is the dress I would have worn if I had been well enough to go out on Saturday night (the one I featured in my blog post arrived and had like a 14 inch waist on it, I couldn't even get my head into it, Mr Bertie thought it was one leg of a pair of leggings, lol, so I sent it back and ordered this) I am not that certain about it though, I tried it on tonight with the earrings and bracelet I bought to go with it and got Mr Bertie to take a photo (Mr Bertie likes it but I am not so convinced yet), what do you think? It is from ASOS and can be bought here.... To keep or not to keep? That is the question...?

  1. From what I see, you should SO keep this dress. It gives you such an AMAZING silhouette.

  3. tbh, i wouldn't keep it, it might be the angle but it's too "mermaid"/wrapped at the bottom for me.

    1. Thanks for your input, it doesn't look like that in real life (if you know what I mean) think it is angle I am at and the photo was taken at but I totally hear you on it!! Thanks :)

    1. I thought that but I tried a necklace and it looked weird with the neckline and the mesh panels (camera doesn't really pick those up) I get what you mean though :)

    1. Yep I totally agree with you re length, if I'm keeping it I'll need to take it up by 3-4 inches lol, way too long. Thank you though, very sweet :)

  12. I'm going to echo what everyone said above and say KEEP! You look gorgeous and classy in it, while giving a bit of subtle va-va-voom sexiness. :)

  14. I really like this dress, I think it looks elegant and unusual with the asymmetric neckline and midi length.

    I say keep!

  15. Keep it! The dress is chic and sophisticated and you look great! Maybe try to highlight more gold accents as well as a pointed heel to further elongate your legs. And maybe a sleek ponytail?

    1. Thanks, I will try more gold with it (I am going to take the hemline up) and also the ponytail. I don't fancy pointed heels though, I have always hated pointed shoes on me (not on other people, they look lovely on some women, I think my legs are too muscular for them)I like your ideas though thank you for sharing with me and giving me some thoughts about how to wear this when I eventually take the length up.

  16. Gorgeous, it's a keeper! Classy and chic. I like the length as is, but I'm a vintage-loving gal so prefer a longer length. I'm 5"9 so I struggle to find dresses long enough for me from the High Street!

    1. Thanks Cassy. I liked the length at first then I felt swamped by it and also nearly broke my neck going up the stairs (it has no split so it is a real wiggle style dress and I didn't anticipate that when I tried to go upstairs lol)
