Role Playing (Oooh Errr Missus) and Sunday Lunch

Bodycon Skirt from Internacionale Girls section, Blouse from Primark, Jumper from Vero Moda (at ASOS, now only £10! Mine is 'hot sauce' colour), Boots from Dorothy Perkins

Mr Bertie got an action shot of me going for my jumper, and I thought it was funny so I would share it, he likes the action shots apparently, lol
Another action shot, this time adjusting my collar
This is how I have worn it all day to be honest, it was too cold just for the blouse
Showing my appreciation of Mr Bertie's camera skills, he is really very good, all say thank you to Mr Bertie for his patience lol
Close up of the skirt and jumper (it is really chunky and cosy) Mr Bertie gave me a cuddle in it and gave it the thumbs up, he is all about how the clothes feel rather than how they look!
I don't think this is a very 'blogworthy' outfit to be honest, but it was comfortable, cosy and just what I needed today for my lazy Sunday recovering from the lurgy.

I had a good sleep last night and have woken up feeling a little better (but still very tired) so I still didn't get much done as I have spent the day lounging about watching TV (it seems to be the theme of the weekend).  We did go out for a lovely Sunday lunch which was nice to get me out of the house (woo, go me) and on the way back I decided to sit in the back of the car and get Mr Bertie to pretend to be a taxi driver, it was fun. We had a long conversation whilst in character as customer and taxi driver which amused us greatly. Small things and small minds eh?!

The tree is most definitely coming down tonight, it is going to be a BIG job, there are pine needles everywhere already from where I have been messing about with it yesterday taking off some of the decorations.  Is it just me or does anyone else love running their fingers down the branches when the tree is totally dried out to see all the pine needles come off into a pile on the floor leaving the branch totally bald? I keep doing it and it is driving Mr Bertie crazy, he keeps telling me off for it lol.  Oh well, bye bye tree, you served us well!

I can't believe it is Monday tomorrow, back to work again, oh no. I have decided we (Mr Bertie and me, not the royal 'we') need a weekend away to look forward to (perhaps for Valentines day) so I am going to be looking into this over the next couple of weeks and getting something booked (I am thinking Tallinn or back to Krakow). We used to go away all the time, we need to bring that back into our lives!!

How is everyone this Sunday, what have you been up to this weekend, any exciting news to share with me?

    1. Thanks Lacey that's very sweet of you. I am starting to push myself to find new ways to wear things (when not wearing my dresses that is lol) and it doesn't always work but is always worth a try, you should give it a go :)

  6. It's funny that you think this isn't a very blogworthy outfit because I think it's one of my favourites of yours! Love the jumper, it's the best colour. I hope you manage to book a trip xxx

    1. Haha as I wrote that sentence out I asked myself what I thought wasn't blogworthy about it and it's just because it isn't my usual style and actually thought about how other people who like this style may actually disagree (if all that ramble makes sense?) so I suppose it is good to change things up a bit every now and again :)

I am just looking on Ryanair website now (told you I was bargain queen lol), excited :)

  7. I like it when bloggers post pics of their every day outfits as well as the dressier ones, so no worries! And you are so lucky that Mr. Bertie takes all your pics. Self-timer for this girl :) Happy Sunday!

    1. It's good that you like seeing everyday outfits as there may be a lot more to come:) Yes I agree, I am lucky that he takes most of them for me, he does grumble every single time though lol, I keep telling him if he doesn't like doing it he should buy me a tripod, then he is happy to take them for me hehe.

      Happy Monday!

  10. It is blogworthy. I like it. Better than my work uniform. LOLZ at the taxi role play. I need a Mr Bertie to role play with. And take my photos. I have a Lilly to take my photos, but I'll never get laid that way.

    Janine looks at these: http://www.sarenza.co.uk/menbur-pisum-ot-s780653-p0000051686?ectrans=1&awc=2780_1357515345_679b148ba7cb5e9a98b472e79b348af3

If you win the lottery, this is what you shall buy me. I got them for ForeverAmber - thanks for telling me about her blog because I am in love with everything she wears.

Do you want to go for an eat to bite next Monday or Tuesday after work? I am holiday and could pick you up? Whatcha say? Or if not the Saturday after?

    1. Were you drunk when you wrote this last night???? Lol.

Very nice shoes, but you don't need a lottery win for those! Just save the money that you would have spent on cigarettes and booze for just one month and those will be yours, I am not giving up on trying to get you stop the nasty smoking!! These shoes should be incentive enough??? :)

OK, I will see what I have on next week and text you/FB you to arrange, we will get something sorted :)

    3. Lol, it's not fitting you in it's that I will be at work 8.30am until 6pm every day and then doing a few things after work so need to plan ahead in a way that is not going to exhaust me (MS rules my social life, away MS away!!) so need to make sure it is a day when I will have energy for it and that it won't make me death doom tired the next day. It's the spoon theory all over again lol.

    1. Thanks Geraldine :) I am going to see what else I can wear that blouse with as yesterday was first time I wore it since I bought it, like you say it seems like it would go with a lot of things. I was thinking of tucking it into a high waisted pencil skirt with blazer over it for work and over skinny jeans (worn loose like this) with knee boots and a chunky knit cardigan over that?
